Community Guidelines

Where to Poop is for practical, respectful restroom information. Keep listings and reviews helpful, accurate, and appropriate for a broad audience.

Allowed

Good-faith cleanliness ratings, supply details, accessibility notes, hours or access updates, and brief comments based on a genuine public or semi-public restroom experience.

Not Allowed

Do not submit private homes or personal addresses; false or misleading listings; harassment, threats, hate speech, defamatory statements, sexual or graphic content; personal information about employees or other individuals; impersonation; illegal content; content that infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights; advertising, solicitation, spam, automated submissions, or content intended to embarrass or target someone.

Keep Reviews About the Restroom

Describe the restroom and its public access, supplies, cleanliness, or amenities. Do not identify, rate, or speculate about individual employees, customers, residents, or other private people. Do not claim that a venue guarantees restroom access merely because it appears in the app.

Reports and Moderation

Users can report listings and comments and can block contributors. Administrators may hide content, redact personal information, remove content, restrict contributors, and preserve moderation records needed to keep the service useful. We are not obligated to review every submission before it appears, but we review reports and may act when content violates these Guidelines or the Terms.

Enforcement and Appeals

Enforcement may include a warning, reduced trust status, temporary restriction, content removal, or permanent loss of contribution access, depending on severity and history. To ask us to reconsider a moderation decision, email support with enough information to identify the affected listing or contribution.

No Photos

The app does not accept restroom photos.
